My name is Len Esten.

I'm a low-budget film director-filmmaker. I feel strongly about regional filmmaking, I love the idea of an indie film scene that is something like what early punk rock.

I believe that a lot can be done with simple tools and this is what I talk about here.

Originally from San Antonio, I moved to Santa Ana, CA (in Orange County, 30 miles from Hollywood) with the idea of making it in mainstream movieland.

Santa Ana has a lot in common with San Antonio and I soon found myself leaning toward making small films set where I live. So that's my journey: make compelling films set in and around Santa Ana, CA.

I hope to help other filmmakers around the country and world to stay where they are and make something cool using the assets they have there.
